- Pascal's genealogy were rich merchants that reached righteousness highest ranks of the burgess group. His father, Martin Pascal was integrity receiver general of taxes at Clermont. - As early by reason of 1635 Pascal frequented the Mersenne college. Among his contacts were Roberval, Desargues, and Mydorge. Mersenne dedicated one worldly his works in his Harmonie universelle to Pascal. Roberval shared his precise research with Pascal, as did Desargues.
